WHAT WE DO
Be the creator of your healing journey.
Expressing our inner thoughts and feelings isn’t always easy. At Artivive, we gently guide you to explore creative methods that feel right for you, helping you uncover emotions and promote emotional clarity.
For children, creativity is often their first language. Art therapy helps them safely express big feelings they may not yet have words for. Through play-based activities, we support emotional regulation, ease anxiety, and build confidence.
Mindfulness and art therapy combine creative practices with spiritual and emotional self-awareness. Guided visualisations, breathwork, and symbology help you explore beyond conscious thought, connecting you to deeper personal insight.
Our trauma-informed art therapy provides a calm, supportive space to creatively and gently process life’s challenges. We use transpersonal methods like life mapping, mandalas, and symbol work to support self-awareness and healing.

Testimonials
Hear from our Artivive community their stories of healing, growth, and creative transformation.
“My 8-year-old daughter loves her Art Therapy sessions. Andrea has created a safe place for her talk through her self-regulation issues while also finding calmness while exploring her creative side.”
“Andrea has been so accommodating, informative and honest throughout my son’s journey into Art Therapy sessions with her. From the beginning Andrea has provided such a caring, supportive and easy-going approach ensuring each step is easy and comfortable and that each choice is the right one for my child. My son has improved so much in such little ways and with Andrea’s feedback I have been able to implement techniques in my home which has improved the way I approach things that work for my son and improving my relationship in such a healthy and positive way. I highly recommend Andrea.”
FAQs
Everything you need to know about starting art therapy at Artivive.
Art therapy classes involve using creative techniques like painting, drawing, or clay work to explore emotions, process experiences, and improve mental well-being. At Artivive, sessions are guided by a certified Transpersonal Art Therapist and are tailored to individual needs.
Art therapy courses are typically structured over multiple sessions and may follow a specific therapeutic theme or outcome. Individual art therapy classes are more flexible and personalised based on each client’s goals.
In an art therapy session at Artivive, you'll engage in creative activities guided by a therapist. Sessions typically begin with a brief check-in about your current state, followed by art-making activities tailored to your personal therapy goals. You'll then explore your creative process and insights with your therapist. The emphasis is always on the process, not creating a perfect artwork.
Art therapy is suitable for children (4+), adolescents, and adults. It’s especially helpful for those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, sensory challenges, or neurodivergence.
Yes, we provide fully interactive online art therapy sessions via Zoom. These sessions follow the same supportive, creative process as our in-person sessions, allowing you to access art therapy from the comfort of your home.
We offer both. Small group sessions for children (4–5 participants) run weekly during school holidays or in a 4-6 week block throughout the term. These sessions are pre-planned to incorporate activities that encourage positive social interactions and emotional support. Adult group sessions can also be arranged as a one-off session or as a 4-week block.
Individual sessions, on the other hand, are not pre-planned and are tailored as the sessions unfold to suit your needs.
Getting started begins with a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs, session availability, and whether you prefer in-person or online sessions. If we proceed, you’ll have to complete a background information form, especially for children or young people, with any relevant documents from school or allied health professionals.
